Motelson grew Dome Property Management to be the largest Staten Island based property management company in the
New York metropolitan area. Dome Property Management and its affiliates have managed properties in all 5 boroughs of
New York City, New Jersey and Delaware. Currently, Dome Property Management concurrently manages almost 100
communities, over 70 of which are located on Staten Island.
Envisioning a complement of consumer related services to benefit the thousands of families living in Dome managed
properties, Dome Property Management moved from its cramped basement location to its current spacious facility in June
of 2000.
On July 1, 2000, less than a month after the move, tragedy struck Dome, when its founder, Steven Motelson, tragically died
in an automobile accident. Demonstrating the fortitude, dedication and perseverance of the team assembled by its
founder, Dome overcame that tragedy and continues to thrive.
In early 2001, the Company adopted a new logo, embracing a proud heritage and foreshadowing a bright future.
Fulfilling our founder's vision, on May 22, 2001, Dome Real Estate Brokerage, Inc., a full service real estate brokerage
offering preferred commissions to Dome's clients, was formed. In the near future, we plan to open additional consumer
service companies, such as mortgage brokerage, central station home-alarm monitoring, self-storage and consumer
insurance. We also intend to open satellite management offices throughout the region and, eventually, in other states.
DOME currently employs a devoted workforce of about 20 people, servicing the five boroughs of New York City and New
Jersey. We are capable of managing community associations (such as condominiums, homeowners associations and
cooperatives), commercial buildings (retail and offices), apartment buildings, multi-family dwellings and mixed-use
properties, throughout the New York metropolitan area. We strive to be the best real estate services company in the industry.
To achieve our objective of being the best real estate services company in the industry requires leadership in a number of
key areas: management, operations, technology, training and people.
The key to our success is our people. Their skills, dedication and professionalism have enabled us to accomplish so much
as a Company up until now, and will allow us to accomplish even more in the years ahead.
